Description

This retrospective cohort study examined opioid-naïve patients who underwent at least one total joint arthroplasty (knee, hip, or shoulder surgery) between Dec. 1, 2015, and Dec. 1, 2020. The study used the MaineHealth Epic electronic health record database and MaineHealth's Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM) database. The MaineHealth IRB approved use of PHI for this research.
