Description
This is a c. 1909 view of one of the large wards at MGH. Patients had little privacy but the wards were clean with plenty of light and well tended by the nurses, most of whom were students. Rev-"1909" MGH women's ward with nurses and patients, electric lighting. Adhesive and paper backing.
