Why this matters?

This study uses an asset-based approach to understand what supports nutrition security in rural northern New England. Through interviews and focus groups with food system professionals, the authors identify existing community strengths across multiple domains, showing that rural areas possess underrecognized assets that can be leveraged to improve nutrition and health.
