This 30-minute virtual session will overview strategies and techniques to support learners with disabilities in a healthcare setting. Participants will be able to:

  • Define disability in a health education setting
  • Value learners with disability within a DEI framework
  • Recognize the risks of un/mismanaged disability
  • Appreciate the role of the preceptor in supporting learners with disabilities
