OBJECTIVES:
1. Attendees will understand the pathophysiology and epidemiology of commotio cordis and learn other common causes of sport-related pediatric cardiac arrest.
2. Attendees will be able to describe the important elements of preventing and responding to sport-related pediatric cardiac arrest.
3. Attendees will understand how to improve access to AEDs and high-quality CPR for pediatric athletes in their communities.
