Description
The Nurses' Home (later known as Alida Leese Hall), ivy covered, reverse: " Portland Evening News". The building was located behind the East Pavilion and connected to the hospital with a tunnel. At various times, the building was used to house student nurses, nurses, and students of practical nursing. This view shows several 1920s nurses at the front entrance to their dormitory. Ivy thickly covered the walls of this building and others on the campus for several years.
