Description

Three MMC student nurses construct and demonstrate the wearing of their caps (See General Newsense Feb 1960). Caps were made up from a flat piece of heavily starched fabric into the iconic triangle form, symbolic of the three-hospital merger that led to MMC. The style of these caps was unique to MMC. Upon graduation, a black velvet ribbon was added.
