Objectives:

• Describe the poor health outcomes associated with release from incarceration as well as structural, clinical, and individual factors that drive them
• Articulate several different policy and clinical interventions that can improve the health of people released from incarceration
• Appraise the potential role for novel interventions, such as Medicaid policy innovation and cash transfers to improve health outcomes in people released from incarceration
