Abstract
The article discusses a poster presentation on a staffing activity tool for perinatal departments based on the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) staffing guidelines. It discusses the successful implementation of the tool in perinatal units and states that it assists nurses in staffing decisions based on the number and acuity of patients.
