Abstract
The article presents two insights about treatment of obesity in childhood. Dr. Allen F. Browne conveyed his response to a report by Dr. Alvin N. Eden titled "10 commandments of obesity prevention for children." Browne said lack of improvement in the prevalence of pediatric obesity makes sense if one looks at obesity as a disease. Eden agrees that genetics play a poorly understood role in the development of obesity.
